Drawing from her history the arts, Carolyn brings a unique thought process to all of her business transactions. While transitioning into the business world, she acknowledged parallels between the creative and business process. Both include generating ideas, developing techniques to implement the idea, problem solving and ending with a finished product representing those ideas. Her history as an artist has sharpened her eye to see things from a different perspective.
Carolyn has worked in the leadership development field for over 15 years. Early in her career, she became passionate about helping people reach their personal potential and achieve their goals. She encouraged people to push beyond their perceived limitations in both their personal and professional life. Today, Carolyn continues this passion by collaborating with leaders using her unique frame of reference to engage and mobilize higher levels of success.
Utilizing self-awareness and accountability, Carolyn assists leaders to focus on action. As a coach, consultant and trainer/facilitator, Carolyn challenges clients to make tough choices and follow through. Clients appreciate her alternate perspective to bring new meaning to a situation. Carolyn is known for her quiet strength that supports leaders to make significant changes leading to personal and professional growth.
Carolyn appreciates the challenges her clients face and enjoys being a collaborative partner as they negotiate the leadership path. She understands the importance of building and sustaining relationships and helps her clients find tools to succeed.
Carolyn holds a Bachelors degree in Studio Art from UC Davis, and a Masters degree in Applied Behavioral Science from Bastyr University. She holds a license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Oregon and is a Reliant Behavioral Health (RBH) EAP counselor and trainer.
In her ‘free’ time you will find her running the trails of Southern Oregon, sometimes covering 100 miles at one time. She lives in Southern Oregon with her husband and two Australian Shepherds.
